She stands guard at heaven's gate
Her sword held high
In armour gold and ornate
Shining wings spread wide

Unmoved by sorrow or hate
She serves the throne
She's never questioned her fate
But she stands alone

Fierce angel, she fights for the light
She serves her Lord
Immortal gifted with flight
Yet she yearns for more

She's fought hard for Justice and Right
In heaven above
Yet she'd trade it all for a day and a night
with her one true love

(spoken) And so it came to pass that the children of men bore beautiful sons and daughters and the angels, children of heaven, looked down upon them and found them fair. And they said let us take lovers from the children of men and beget our own children. And so the watcher angels, beautiful sons and daughters of heaven, fell to the earth.
